Attorneys from Beijing DHH Law Firm Hong Kong Office were Invited to Attend the 10th Legal Seminar among Chinese Mainland and Hong Kong and Macao
Recently, Mr. Yi Zhang, Senior Consultant of Beijing DHH Law Firm Hong Kong Office, and Mr. Yanda Liang, Lawyers of YTL & CO. and DHH Law Firm, were invited to attend the 10th Legal Seminar among Chinese Mainland and Hong Kong and Macao. The Seminar was held in Hong Kong and was co-sponsored by China Law Society, Legal Affairs Office of Macao SAR Government, Hong Kong Law Forum, and School of Law of City University of Hong Kong. Nearly 100 legal experts, scholars and legal practitioners from Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong and Macao attended the event, discussing legal issues related to the Belt and Road Initiative and the Greater Bay Area construction.
Mr. Mingqi Zhang, Vice President of China Law Society, Mr. Chunhua Liu, Deputy Director & Inspector of Legal Department of Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong S. A. R., Ms. Baoying Liang, Deputy Director of Legal Affairs Office of the Macao SAR Government, Barrister Changcheng Liao from Hong Kong Law Forum, Barrister Huizhu Tan, Vice President of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Basic Law Committee, Barrister Huichong Huang, Solicitor-General of Department of Justice, respectively delivered speeches at the opening ceremony.
The Seminar was divided into three sessions: “Legal Cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative”, “Legal Cooperation in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area” and “Legal Cooperation among Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong and Macao”. Mr. Yi Zhang, Senior Consultant of Beijing DHH Law Firm Hong Kong Office delivered a keynote speech on “Views on Legal Cooperation and Dispute Resolution System in Greater Bay Area”. The moderator of the third session of the Seminar was Mr. Yanda Liang, Lawyer of YTL & CO. and DHH Law Firm, discussing with legal experts, scholars and legal practitioners on the legal cooperation between Chinese Mainland and Hong Kong.
In the end, Mr. Baohu Yin, Director of China Law Academic Exchange Centre, Mr. Canji Zou, Barrister of Hong Kong Law Forum, and Mr. Zaicheng Yi, Associate Professor of Law School of Macau University of Science and Technology, made concluding remarks at the closing ceremony.
