On August 29, 2018, Symposium on the Role, Position and Future of the Joint Operation for Law Firms of Mainland China and Hong Kong & The Unveiling Ceremony of DHH＆YTL LLP Law Firm was successfully held at the Lippo Centre, 89 Queensway, Hong Kong.
The event was affirmed with strong support from Legal Professional Committee of the Hong Kong Chinese Enterprises Association (HKCEA). The Symposium was hosted by Mr. Qi Jiang, Managing Partner of DHH, General Director of Beijing DHH Law Firm and Managing Partner of Hong Kong Office of Beijing DHH Law Firm. Lawyer Yi Zhang, Senior Counsel of Beijing DHH Law Firm, gave a comprehensive summary and introduction on the history, current situation and future of the joint operation for law firms of Mainland China and Hong Kong. Partner Lihua De introduced the joint venture experience of JunHe Law Firm to the guests.

Subsequently, all guests witnessed the unveiling ceremony for joint operation between Beijing DHH Law Firm and YTL LLP Law Firm, and the two sides exchanged gifts. Mr. Xuejie Yu, Mr. Tao Bai and Professor Shucheng Wang respectively made remarks, talking about the advantages and problems of joint operation for law firms of Mainland China and Hong Kong, encouraging mutual learning to promote cultural integration, making full use of opportunities of joint ventures to serve for Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the Belt and Road Initiative. They also congratulated the joint operation between Beijing DHH Law Firm and YTL LLP Law Firm and blessed it a better future.

After the guest's speeches, Lawyer Yanda Liang represented DHH & YTL LLP Law Firm to deliver a speech on the Cooperative Innovation and Development of the joint operation for law firms of Mainland China and Hong Kong. Subsequently, the participants conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges on the development, advantages and opportunities of the joint operation model for law firms of Mainland China and Hong Kong, as well as the requirements for the legal services of enterprises in Mainland China and Hong Kong in the current economic environment.
