DHH Hong Kong Branch Officially Becomes Special Member Unit of the Legal Affairs Steering Committee of the Hong Kong Chinese Enterprises Association
Founded in 1991, the Hong Kong Chinese Enterprises Association is a non-profit-making social organization aimed at promoting business development, enjoying quite a fame and exercising an important influence in the industrial and commercial community of Hong Kong. There are more than one thousand members in the Association, including wholly-owned subsidiaries and holding companies set up in Hong Kong by mainland China companies. The LASC set under the Association is mainly responsible for providing legal services of management of member units, preventing legal risks, and assisting in the mediation of commercial disputes among members. The main contents of this executive meeting are to adopt the adjustment scheme of member units, review the 2017 work & financial report, and discuss the LASC work arrangement for 2018.
At the meeting, Mr. Zhu Hua, the vice president of the Association, formally announced that DHH Hong Kong Branch and lawyer Jiang Qi were appointed as special committee unit member and special committee member of the LASC respectively.
Officially opened in January 2018, DHH Hong Kong Branch, relying on the foundation of 32 branches worldwide and thousands of lawyers of Beijing DHH Law firm, grasping the historical opportunities of the “Belt and Road” Initiative and the development of Guangdong – Hong Kong – Macau Greater Bay Area, has launched three services including financing legal products, offshore wealth management and cross-border dispute resolution, being committed to providing one-stop legal services for enterprises both in Hong Kong and mainland China. As a special unit member of the LASC, DHH Hong Kong branch will actively fulfill the responsibilities and obligations of members, participate in the activities of the Association, and provide professional and efficient legal services for members of the Association.
