DHH Washington DC Law Office Attended Welcome Reception for Delegation of Qingdao Municipal Government

On August 24th, 2017, the Shandong Fellowship Association in the United States and several well-known Chinese associations of Great Washington region held a welcome reception for Delegation of Qingdao municipal government. DHH Washington DC Law Office Executive Director, Partner and Head of Toronto Office Qiu Yuxia, Senior Associate Xin Yan were invited to attend this reception and had a lively discussion with the government officials and business delegates.
Mr. Liu Fengqiang, the chairman of the Shandong Fellowship Association in the United States delivered opening speech and warmly welcomed the nine-person hometown delegation, headed by Mr.Yang Hongjun, Vice Chairman of the Qingdao Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, and Ms.Yin Yuqin ,the Director of Qingdao overseas Chinese Affairs Office. Mr.Yang Hongjun introduced the preferential policies and conditions for attraction of investment and intelligence to Qingdao. At present, Qingdao is attracting the top talents and teams globally, especially the projects which have a significant impact on the scientific and technological innovation and industrial development. The government of Qingdao will provide up to RMB 100 million yuan as comprehensive support. Across China, Qingdao is offering the most comprehensive and preferential incentives for overseas returnees.
