DHH Washington Law Office is actively establishing cooperation with US law firms, especially in areas such as international trade, CFIUS, FCPA, etc. Following the best practice of serving as legal counsel to Chinese Embassy in Russia, DHH DC also expressed willingness to assist staff at Chinese Embassy in the US to address legal matters at home, such real estate, inheritance, retirement, insurance and civil servant reform.

Minister Tian praised DHH’s vision and diligence as the only Chinese law firm in DC area, and is heartened by DHH’s resolution to play a more active role in supporting Chinese organizations like CGCC and CCPIT. He pointed out that the legal market in DC is highly competitive, DHH should find its niche and balance its Chinese characteristics with localization. The road ahead for US and China economic relationship is complicated by uncertain policies, but Minister Tian is optimistic that both sides will work towards mutual benefits, and legal service can tackle problems and make deals.
