DHH Washington DC Law Office Spring Reception The Second Anniversary Celebration

DHH Washington DC Law Office held a spring conference-cum-two-year anniversary celebration at Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington, DC. 17 partners and executives of DHH, with nearly 200 guests from the Chinese Embassy in the United States, DC government, academia, law firm, NGO and local industry associations, gathered at the Grand Ballroom enjoying the wonderful time.
The DHH partner and the chairman of the meeting, Luan Shaohu, Liu Jiqing, Liu Kejiang, Fu Xiye, Zhang Yijian, Wang Yuejian, Yao Youxian, Tian Xiaowan (Directors of Beijing, Shanghai and Washington), Zhang Shiqiong and Luan Shan (International Department Director), Su Linlin (Deputy Director), Wang Yiran (Washington Executive Director), successively addressed the guests. Chinese Ambassador to the United States Embassy Economic Counselor Mr. Li Bin, First Secretary Dr. Pan Jiang, US Department of Justice officials Ms. Li Zhangjian Yi and Prof. Huang Yong, Competition Law Center of University of International Business and Economics, successively addressed and toast, climaxing the reception atmosphere.
Looking forward to the future, Luan Shaohu proposed the establishment of the "China Law Center", hoping to introduce the legal system of China with regular Chinese law lectures given by lawyer from DHH and to vigorously promote Sino-US legal exchanges, which was supported by the unanimous approval of the guests. As the first Chinese subject in Washington, driven by the main concept of the Chinese law firm, Washington Branch hopes to make a positive contribution to the construction of the foreign legal service personnel, resource accumulation, and legal culture propaganda.
The reception, which was scheduled to finish at 7:30 pm, was finished at 9 pm. After guests’ farewell, members from the three places gathered in Washington DC filled with a sense of responsibility and mission as lawyers to promote the development of foreign legal services abroad, and the whole foreign team was looking forward to this spring.
