Chinese Legal Publicity Center Established in the US, Russia and Canada Branches

Recently, Beijing DHH Law Firm announced the establishment of "US DC China Law Center" and announced the specific activity plan on monthly lecture of Chinese new law at the Reagan International Conference Center US Washington. Mr. Li Bin, Business Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in the United States, and Ms. Li Zhangjian Yi, Director of Asia-Pacific Legal Affairs of the US Federal Ministry of Justice, with nearly 200 people from legal and economic circles in China and the United States attended the press conference.
As Counselor Li Bin said in the impromptu speech, “At present, to promote the development of Sino-US economic and trade cooperation has entered a new stage of rationality and legality. We encourage more Chinese enterprises into the US investment M & A business, but the key to success is to master, respect and apply local laws. Similarly, it is hoped that more US companies will continue to stabilize and expand their investment in China, since China has large population and broad market. In addition, China's society and economy are in an orderly way to achieve the rule of law, which will surly guarantee rich full return on American enterprises’ investment. By setting up the window in the US, DHH Law Firm hopes for more knowledge on China's legal environment, better exchange and faster grasp of Chinese legal information among American enterprises, relevant policy class and professionals. In that way, I believe it will be welcomed by both two countries; this business development will also help this firm to seize the business opportunities on Sino-US legal services.”
Ms. Li Zhangjian Yi, the US Federal Department of Justice, said in his speech that enhancing exchanges, understanding and consensus was the foundation of friendly relationship between the United States and China. Meanwhile, the study of mutual legal system and provisions must also be an important part of the current and future friendship and economic-trade cooperation between the two countries. Beijing DHH Law Firm has been an active participant in the exchange of legal culture between the United States and China. The establishment of a legal propaganda center in Washington, DC, will further promote the integration, exchange and cooperation between lawyers and legal circles.
Professor Wang Yong, Chief Consultant of DC China Law Center, Prof. Huang Yong, China University of International Business and Economics, gave a lecture on the theme of “Sino-US antitrust legal communication to promote the healthy development of trade between the two sides”. Beijing DHH Law Firm partner chairman Luan Shaohu presided over the launch activities. Chinese lawyers from Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Hong Kong and Ameican lawyers from and Washington, DC, New York, Chicago and Los Angeles participated in the press conference and expressed their willingness to actively participate in the activities of the China Law Center.
It is reported that Beijing DHH law firm has also made a serious deployment arrangements in its Toronto Russia, Moscow Office in addition of its "China New Law monthly forum" in Washington, DC Office. The monthly forum will be the first held in the United States, Canada, Russia, which is designed for a monthly period of 4 hours per day, with "China New Law Express", "China's rule of law focus" and "Chinese and foreign legal person interaction" and other themes in specific.
