EXPERIENCE

Christine Miles has been a French-qualified lawyer since 2005. She has been practicing for 10 years in the People’s Republic of China. Before joining DHH Law Firm, she was a lawyer at Paris and Beijing offices of Gide law firm, an international law firm originated in France.
When exercising in France, she specialized in M&A and privatizations involving listed or non-listed companies and corporate law, especially in the energy, infrastructure and banking sectors. She participated in acquisitions, privatizations and restructuring transactions involving state-owned companies, special status enterprises and concession companies and has good knowledge of processes of sales through tender offer, both public and private, and of cooperation agreements (cooperation and joint venture contracts, shareholder agreements, and data-room processes).
In China, she advises European companies for their investments in China and Chinese companies for their investments in Europe or Africa, on any legal matter related to their investment.
She is used to advising clients for their cross-border operations, from advising them at the very inception of their project up until its implementation, and, as the case may be, on the day-to-day operation of the investment or litigation. She has also developed a specific practice in TMT, ICT and new technologies related legal matters and regularly advises tech companies in their legal matters.
Christine is an arbitrator at the Qingdao Arbitration Commission and Weihai Arbitration Commission and elected member of the Board of French Chamber of Commerce in China.

n Agricultural Bank of China on the establishment of the Sino-Congolese Bank for Africa (BSCA), a new universal commercial bank in the Republic of Congo, along with the Congolese government and other public and private partners
n Golden Concord Holding Limited (GCL), a Chinese integrated energy group that specializes in clean and new energy, on the setting up of a power plant project in Tanzania
