The Legal Profession Branch of the China General Chamber of Commerce-Russia Holds Signing Ceremony in Moscow

On the morning of April 11, the Legal Profession Branch of the China General Chamber of Commerce-Russia, of which the formation was led by DHH in association with 10 Russian law firms, was officially established with the signing ceremony held in Greenwood park of Moscow. Zhou Liqun, the president of the China General Chamber of Commerce-Russia (hereinafter referred to as the General Chamber), Fu Yanjie, the Secretary General of the General Chamber, Li Na, the president of Overseas Chinese Federation in Russia, Luan Shaohu, the vice-president of China Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (hereinafter referred to as CASME), and representatives of Russian well-known law firms attended the activity.
“The Legal Profession Branch of the China General Chamber of Commerce-Russia” is the first China-Russia lawyer association which is composed of nearly 300 lawyers from 11 law firms of Russia and China.
Luan Shaohu, the vice-president of CASME, addressed the signing ceremony that the Legal Profession Branch is to build a good brand image of Chinese enterprises, promote cooperation and development between enterprises in China and Russia, and provide legal services for enterprises in both countries. Besides, during the Russia World Cup, providing relevant legal services for Chinese spectators to come to watch the match is also a primary task.
Under the direct lead of China General Chamber of Commerce-Russia, the Legal Profession Branch aims to strengthen the legal exchange between China and Russia, safeguard the legitimate rights of China-invested Enterprises and overseas Chinese, provide members with the latest laws, regulations and legal services through websites, periodicals, lectures, seminars and other channels periodically or unregularly under the framework of Russian law.
