This Summit attracted many experts from legal practice, investment community, legal department of large enterprises, arbitration and other related industries. Mr. Liu Xinze is the Director of Beijing DHH Law Firm International Trade Dispute and Compliance Practice. He has represented domestic rubber and steel industries several times to respond to the Section 337 Investigations initiated by the U.S. and has accordingly obtained favorable tax rates. During his speech, Mr. Liu analyzed the risks for Chinese enterprises to go abroad from the aspect of international trade and trade remedy, especially the risks arising from the background of Section 301 Investigation and how to prevent or prepare for potential trade disputes.
After the speech, other speakers and audiences raised questions to Mr. Liu about follow-up work of the Section 301 Investigation, access to the U.S. market, security review, anti-foreign corruption review and related Intellectual Property investigations. Mr. Liu answered each question in detail and with professionalism.
Recently, DHH Law Firm organized an expert team, which constituted leaders from anti-trust, Intellectual Property, and trade remedy, pursuant to the U.S.’s announcement of the initiation of the Section 301 investigation consultation period. The expert team cooperated with senior foreign trade lawyers to represent and defend the Chinese enterprises’ rights.
