DHH Senior Patent Counsel Attended the Annual Spring Meeting of the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA)

From May 15th to May 17th, 2019, the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA) successfully held the 2019 Annual Spring Meeting in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. AIPLA holds three meetings annually, including Winter Meeting (in January), Spring Meeting (in May), and Autumn Meeting (in October). Ms. Ying Li, Co-partner & Senior Patent Counsel of Beijing DHH Law Firm, was invited to attend the 2019 Spring Meeting.

Participating in the AIPLA Luncheon and Listening to the Keynote Speech on the Importance of IP to Enterprises delivered by Global Legal Director Johnson & Johnson
Ms. Ying Li was very interactive during the meeting and took full advantages of the various communication platform provided by AIPLA to make exchanges with American patent practitioners, discussing the current hot issues on patent and commercial secrets and the development trend of Sino-US trade. Meanwhile, Ms. Li actively introduced the current IP practice of DHH to pave the way for IP Team to provide more professional legal services for international clients.

Ultimately, Ms. Li successfully established a cooperative relationship with a number of IP law firms and invited some American IP law firms to visit DHH for closer and deeper cooperation.

This Annual Meeting introduced American IP laws and practices to the participants from patent application, patent litigation, trademark and copyright, trade secret, patent licensing, implementation and other perspectives, and ended with a great success.
