In mid-May, Senior IP Lawyer Chunhua Cui of Beijing DHH Law Firm went to Washington D.C. to visit several famous law firms, including Adduci, Mastriani & Schaumberg, Eckert Seamans Cherin Mellott, Holland Knight, etc. And She also conducted in-depth exchanges on IP issues and cooperation between China and the US.

Ms. Chunhua Cui firstly arrived at DHH Washington D.C. Office located in AAAOE and then paid a visit to several well-known local law firms.

During the visit, Lawyer Cui made a brief introduction to a series of positive measures on IP in recent one year in China. She also introduced DHH IP Team, which centers in Beijing taking full advantage in IP administrative procedures, administrative litigation, customs IP protection, government affairs, and so on. At the same time, as a large comprehensive firm, DHH is expert in IP due diligence, commercialization and providing IP characteristics of comprehensive legal services.

On the other hand, Lawyer Cui also further understood the new requirements of American government on intellectual property protection under the current background through talking with local lawyers, in order to provide better services for Chinese enterprises. Due to the rich experience of those DC law firms in IP-related administrative procedures, administrative litigation, and customs protection, there are similarities in terms of service content and types between DHH and the local law firms as well as broad prospect for cooperation. This visit deepened the mutual understanding in IP situation, policies and dynamics and reached consensus on many issues, laying a solid foundation for future cooperation.
