Beijing DHH Law Firm and Russian Students Association in China Signed the “Agreement on Setting Up Internship Bases for Russian Students”  in Honor of the 70th Anniversary of the Establishment of China-Russia Diplomatic Relations

On June 5th, 2019, Beijing DHH Law Firm (hereinafter referred to as “DHH”) and Russian Students Association (hereinafter referred as “RSA”) in China held a signing ceremony in Beijing Yintai Center, on the occasion of the 70th Anniversary of the Establishment of China-Russia Diplomatic Relations when the Leader of the two countries countries attended the 23rd St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. The two sides agreed that DHH sponsored RMB 200,000 to establish Internship Bases for Russian Students in DHH offices. Mr. Qi Jiang, Mananging Partner of DHH, and Ms. Faizulina Viktoriia, Chairwoman of RSA, on behalf of each side, signed the agreement. The event was presided over by Ms.Yang Lu, DHH Innovation Director, and DHH representative lawyers (including Senior Partner Li Ren, Partner Shuxun Gao, Xiao Wang and Shuli Ye, etc.) attended the event.

In the future, the seven offices of Beijing DHH Law Firm respectively in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Qingdao, Jinan, Moscow and St. Petersburg will successively set up internship bases for Russian students in China, which will definitely promote the China-Russia youth training and the exchanges among legal talents, and luster the friendship between Chinese and Russian people. 

In 2014, Beijing DHH Law Firm took a lead in setting up branches in Moscow and St. Petersburg in response to the Belt and Road Initiative. Since then, DHH have effectively cooperated with the China General Chamber of Commerce in Russia, and engaged in the work of Chinese-funded enterprises settling in Russia and their integration into the local legal environment. Meanwhile, DHH has provided professional legal service in settling more than 700 complex issues and has been well received by all circles in both China and Russia. Mr. Hui Li, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to Russia, has repeatedly praised DHH Moscow Office as “A capable legal counsel for Chines-funded enterprises and the Chinese Embassy in Russia. It was also praised as “A legal crutch for Russian and Chinese enterprises” by Mr. Xin Shao, Chairman of Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP). In May 2018, Mr. Zhenyu Liu, Vice Minister of Ministry of Justice of the People’s Republic of China, led a Russian delegation to visit DHH Moscow Office for an in-depth investigation, encouraging DHH to make more contributions to the friendship between China and Russia.
