International IP Expert & Professor Andy Sun Visited Beijing DHH Law Firm
On the morning of February 25th, 2019, Prof. Andy Sun, Executive Director of Asia-Pacific Legal Institute (APLI) & Expert in Intellectual Property Law, visited Beijing DHH Law Firm. Managing Partner Qi Jiang and Senior Partner Hao Chen of DHH gave him a warm reception.
Firstly, President Qi Jiang introduced the historical evolution and the rapid development in recent years of DHH and Beijing DHH Law Firm, and highlighted the international practice including its development speed and remarkable performance, etc. Subsequently, the two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on the IP issues, the difficulties encountered by foreign companies in their IP protection in China and the legal protection of Chinese companies in the United States under the circumstances of Sino-US trade frictions. The two sides expressed their positive views on the multi-level and all-round interaction between China and the United States and looked forward to further cooperation.

Prof. Andy Sun, famous for his expertise in international economy & IP law and IP management, at present holds the positions as APLI Executive Director and Researcher at the Research Center for Science & Technology Policy and Law of National Chengchi University in Taiwan, and also serves as a visiting or adjunct professor to give lectures on intellectual property, technology transfer, anti-unfair competition and anti-monopoly, and international trade regulation in Peking University and other domestic universities. Besides, Prof. Sun is one of the drafters on counselling & copyright legislative bills for Taiwan Intellectual Property Management Bureau and also serves as the senior editor to translate major judicial opinions in Taiwan into English in Taiwan Judicial Yuan.
