An Article Writen by Mao Hongtao Was Reprinted by Chinese Lawyer

On June 30th, 2015, the official We-chat platform of “Chinese Lawyer” reprinted Mao Hongtao’s (National Outstanding Lawyer, member of All China Lawyers Association Criminal Committee, senior partner of Beijing DHH Law Firm) article “A non-faction lawyer’s Calm Thoughts on the Article 35 and Article 36 of the ‘Draft of The Ninth Amendment of The Criminal Law’”.
Mao Hongtao gave detailed explanation on the reason for deleting the Article 35 and Article 36 of the second version of “The Draft of The Ninth Amendment of The Criminal Law”. He illustrated that:“There is no explicit regulation on distinguishing non-public information; case heard in camera according to the law is not equal to case heard in camera according to courts… ”.
