Lawyers of Beijing DHH recently represented a large state-owned automobile manufacturing company in an arbitration case involving a dispute over an international sale of goods contract between New Zealand dealers.

The parties in this case were located in the Mainland, Hong Kong and New Zealand. The main difficulties were: 1. This case was a relatively typical transaction of international goods. Due to the participation of the agent, the contract performance entity was inconsistent with the contracting entity, which made it difficult for the actual performance party of the transaction to be bound by the arbitration clause; 2. The transaction happened a while ago, thus some of the evidence could not be retained, and the actual participants resigned, resulting in the lack of part of the evidence chain.
