Chairman Luan Shaohu Visits the Chinese Embassy in Russia and the Chinese Consulate General in St. Petersburg

Recently, Mr. Luan Shaohu, Chairman of the Board of Partners of DHH, led a delegation to visit the Chinese Embassy in Russia and the Chinese Consulate General in St. Petersburg.
On March 31, Mr. Li Hui, the Chinese Ambassador to Russia, met with Chairman Luan Shaohu of DHH and the delegation consisting of Ms. Yuanyi, the director of DHH Moscow Office, the director of DHH St. Petersburg Office, Mr. Yao Yuan, the leader of Russian practice team of Beijing DHH Law Firm, and Mr. Zhou Jianjun, the leader of Russian practice team of DHH. After listening to the three-year summary report on Russian practice made by Mr. Luan Shaohu, ambassador Li Hui pointed out that the 2018 main tasks of Russian practice teams of DHH domestically and globally included assisting well in the promotion activities of the Year of China-Russia Local Cooperation and Exchange, especially the promotion of the participation of Russian enterprises in the activities of Shanghai International Expo, and assisting the Embassy in legal supervision and legal rights protection for Chinese spectators of World Cup in Moscow and visitors during the period from June to August.

On the afternoon of April 3, Chairman Luan Shaohu and his colleagues of DHH St. Petersburg Office visited the Chinese Consulate General in St. Petersburg and were given a warm reception by Consul General Guo Min, Deputy Consul General Zhang Shuyou, and Director Li Qi. Consul General Guo Min listened to and recognized DHH Law Group’s working concepts of cooperation and development with lawyers of Russian law firms. He deemed that a soft environment of mutual trust and rule of law co-built by Chinese and Russian lawyers was of vital importance for China-invested enterprise and Chinese companies to fully participate in the Belt and Road Initiative.
The visit was warmly welcomed by the Chinese Embassy in Russia and the Chinese Consulate General in St. Petersburg. DHH Law Group will devote itself to the cooperation and exchanges of legal services between China and Russia as a bridge and tie.
