DHH lawyers are selected into the Excellent Volunteer Lawyers Alliance of ACEF

On May 26th, the Excellent Volunteer Lawyers Alliance of ACEF (All-China Environment Federation) was officially founded at Yuanwanglou Hotel in Beijing. The Deputy Secretary General of ACEF, Xie Yuhong, the staffs from the legal service center of ACEF, and 16 excellent lawyers from Beijing, Jiangsu, Guangzhou, Zhejiang, Shandong, Chongqing, and Anhui attended this kick-off meeting.
Since the foundation of ACEF in 2006, there has been 449 volunteer lawyers and 138 volunteer law firms that participated. The first 23 members of the Excellent Volunteer Lawyers Alliance were selected depending on their performance and participation in environmental rights protection. Wang Haijun, the Executive Vice-Director of Beijing DHH Law Firm, is one of the five initiators and has been making great efforts in environmental protection with his expertise accrued over the years. Du Zule, the Director of Deheng West-coast office, was also invited to become one of the first members of this Alliance in virtue of his outstanding performance in environmental rights and protections.
