Lawyer of DHH Shanghai Office Cai Zupeng Successfully Finishes “BCTS” of Bar Council

From 20th March,2017 to 14th July,2017, partner of DHH Shanghai Office Cai Zupeng has participated in the 2017 program of “the Bar Council Training Scheme (BCTS)”. The program contains a short bespoke academic program provided by BPP Law School, a series of legal seminars and vocational training sessions and placement in barristers’ chambers. There is also visits to key legal institutions and a social and networking program. All the expenditure of teaching and social activities are undertaken by the British side.
Through this training, many Chinese practicing lawyers obtained a better knowledge of the British legal system. They worked together with the British local barristers, discussed cases, learned drafting of legal texts in English, and audited international commercial arbitration and litigation.
The program has run for 27 years, more than 300 outstanding Chinese lawyers participated in it. Most of the participants has become leading talents in the industry of foreign-related legal service, making great contribution to foreign-related legal practices and China-Britain legal cooperation.
