DHH Lawyer Chunhua Cui was Invited to Participate in the U.S. Embassy Intellectual Property Exchange Seminar

Recently, Chunhua Cui, a lawyer of Beijing DHH Law Firm, was invited to participate in the Homeland Security Investigations Best Practice Exchange Seminar hosted by the ICE Attache in China.
 
 
As a guest and representative of intellectual property lawyers at Chinese law firms, Ms. Cui participated in a panel discussion on the theme of "Internet Infringement and Anti-counterfeit". She exchanged insights and practical experiences on this issue with IP officials from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, relevant leaders of the Quality Brands Protection Committee of China (QBPC), IP officials of the U.S. National Intellectual Property Coordination Center, Apple's IP consultant. Beijing DHH Law Firm was the only Chinese law firm to attend the meeting. 
 
 
Based on the new trend of anti-counterfeit in the current Internet era, Ms. Cui analyzed the opportunities and challenges brought by the Internet era to protection of rights of the IP rights holders, and also provided constructive opinions on the rights protection in the new situation. 
 
 
At the same time, Ms. Cui listened to and discussed other issues related to intellectual property protection with representatives of the U.S. Department of Justice, the International Trademark Association, officials of the U.S. Customs and other government agencies, as well as customs and IP directors/advisers from large companies such as Alibaba and Disney.
