On the morning of June 21st, General Director Qi Jiang of Beijing DHH Law Firm, and Lawyer Sen Ye and Lawyer Linlin Su from Beijing DHH Law Firm Hong Kong Office visited China Legal Service (H.K.) Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “CLS”), receiving a warm welcome given by Mr. Mao Du,Chairman of CLS.
Mr. Qi Jiang introduced the development, professional advantages and future plan of DHH Hong Kong Office to Chairman Mao Du, and then the two sides exchanged on the performance of DHH Hong Kong Office in the role of invited member of Legal Professional Committee of the Hong Kong Chinese Enterprises Association. Chairman Du recognized the development direction of DHH Hong Kong Office and commended its contribution to the legal communication-promotion between the Mainland of China and Hong Kong.
Established in Hong Kong in 1987 with the approval of the Ministry of Justice of the People's Republic of China, China Legal Service (H.K.) Ltd. is engaged in providing cross-border legal services for residents both in Chinese Mainland and Hong Kong, and is committed to promoting the contact and cooperation among the judicial and legal service institutions in the two places. DHH Hong Kong Office, as an invited member of Legal Professional Committee of the Hong Kong Chinese Enterprises Association, has been actively fulfilling its responsibilities and obligations and participating in the legal exchanges between Chinese Mainland and Hong Kong. In 2018, Beijing DHH Law Firm Hong Kong Office, together with China Legal Service (H.K.) Ltd. and Democratic Alliance for Betterment of Hong Kong, held several lectures on the topics of “Common Issues in Cross-border Marriage between Hong Kong and Chinese Mainland”, “Common Dispute Resolution of Hong Kong Residents Buying Property in Chinese Mainland” and so on. Besides, Beijing DHH Law Firm also provided a number of pro bono legal consulting activities for Hong Kong residents.
