Beijing DHH Law Firm Moscow Office Invited Russian Lawyers to Attend the Legal Rights Protection Work Symposium by Chinese Embassy in Russia
On the afternoon of Friday, March 22nd , 2019, representatives of Legal Sub-Council of China General Chamber of Commerce in Russia participated in the Great Market Transformation Development Symposium hosted by the Consular Section of the Chinese Embassy in Russia. Representatives of China General Chamber of Commerce in Russia, Legal Sub-Council and entrepreneurs from various chambers of commerce were invited to attend the Symposium. The Symposium was presided over by Mr. Mingche Liu, Counsellor of the Consular Section, and Minister Xianrong Fan attended the Symposium.
At the beginning of the Symposium, Minister Fan expressed his welcome and hope for all the attendees to speak frankly and actively and to find out the solution to serious problems of the current big market. Counsellor Liu introduced the honored guests and the background of the Symposium and then shift the microphone to Ms. Yi Yuan, Executive Director of the Legal Sub-Council, to introduce the representative lawyers.
The representative lawyers were experts in criminal, customs and immigration law from the Russian Federation Legal Association and well-known law firms. Director Yi Yuan summarized the difficulties faced by the big market and delivered an analysis from a legal perspective. In the next Q&A session, several questions about the three areas of criminal, customs and immigration were raised by the representatives and the corresponding answers were conducted by the lawyers combining with the legal provisions and their own practical experience.
At the end of the Symposium, Mr. Fan suggested that the Legal Sub-Council issue a series of documents on various legal issues (such as customs electronic labeling, identity legalization, etc.) and then publish them on the official website of the Chinese Embassy in Russia.
