Minister Counsellor Jingyuan Li of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Russian Federation Visited Beijing DHH Law Firm Moscow Office

On the morning of January 31st, 2019, accompanied by the leaders of China General Chamber of Commerce (CGCC)-Russia and Moscow Greenwood International Center, Mr. Li Jingyuan, Minister Counsellor of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Russian Federation, visited Beijing DHH Law Firm Moscow Office and sent his greetings and best wishes with the Spring Festival approaching.
Director Yi Yuan, Chief Partner for Russian Business of DHH, reported the remarkable achievements to Minister Counselor Li and other honored visitors that hundreds of cases with 100 million RMB were handled by no more than 20 Chinese and Russian lawyers of DHH Moscow Office and DHH St. Petersburg Office in 2018. Meanwhile, Director Yi Yuan also analyzed the frequent legal disputes of Chinese-funded enterprises in Russia. Minister Counselor Li and other officials from the Embassy and the CGCC in Russia expressed their congratulations and admiration on DHH's achievements in legal services in Russia, and then expressed their gratitude to DHH for its legal support to the Embassy and Chinese-funded enterprises in Russia.
Besides, Minister Counsellor Li made remarks that DHH ought to focus on the prevention and resolution of the legal risks to be confronted by Chinese-funded enterprises in Russia in 2019. DHH was suggested to take good advantages of its circle of friends of Russian lawyers and their abundant practicing experience to compile all the typical cases, and continue to conduct training courses or seminars through the method of expounding the situation by analyzing some cases, thus proving the legal awareness and the awareness of risk prevention & controlling of all various Chinese-funded enterprises in Russia and all their officials and staffs.
In this regard, Director Yi Yuan and representative lawyers from DHH Moscow Office including Yixue Han, Luping Li and Tingting Wang promised that they would continue to hold their ground and strive to provide legal services for the economic trade and investment between China and Russia, and live up to the expectations to escort the development of Chinese-funded enterprises in Russia.
