The First Salon on the Listed Company's Legal Compliance was Successfully Held

On the afternoon of August 15th, Service Center for Listed Companies of Deheng Law Group, China Association of Corporate Counsel for Small and Medium Enterprises (CACC) and The First Law co-hosted the Salon on the Listed Company's Legal Compliance themed by “design, maintenance and competition of control right of listed companies” in Beijing DHH Law Firm located in Beijing Yintai Center. Starting with introducing one of the ten legal products —“Control Right Management & Legal Risk Prevention of Listed Companies”, which were issued during the China’s First Legal Compliance and Innovation Forum on Listed Companies held by DHH in July 21st, 2018, the Salon has attracted a number of chief secretaries, legal professionals, and people involving compliance & risk control from domestic listed companies. This one is the first session of the series of salons on legal compliance to promote DHH’s ten legal products.
The First Salon was moderated by Mr. Guanghui Tao, Chief Adviser of Service Center for Listed Companies of DHH and CEO of The First Law, while Ms. Ying Zhao, Executive Director of DHH Cooperation & Development Center as well as Partner of Beijing DHH Law Firm, was the keynote speaker. 40 legal and compliance professionals participated in the salon, including Mr. Xiesong Geng, Legal Director of CHSR (A-share listed company), Mr. Yan Shang, Vice President of laiwa & Ferid (Beijing) Biotechnology Inc., Mr. Liang Liao, Vice-General Manager of Beijing Automic Technology Co., Ltd., etc.
During the First Salon, firstly, Advisor Tao made a brief introduction of the subject and process of the theme. Secondly, taking the control dispute case of listed company caused by "Baowan Dispute" as an example, Lawyer Ying Zhao put forward practical solutions for legal risks arising from changes in corporate control of listed companies. Thirdly, Director Ge shared something related to corporate control issues with his rich working experience as a Corporate Counsel & Chief Secretary, and proposed opinions that “For listed and non-listed companies, corporate control not only includes legal control, but also includes coordination and arrangement in management, resources and public opinion”. Later, participants raised their questions and exchanged opinions actively with Lawyer Zhao and Director Geng.
Finally, Adviser Tao made a closing speech, and expressed heartfelt thanks to the participants and took a group photo with them.
