Mr. Alexander, Former Ukrainian Minister of Energy & Current Chairman of the Ukrainian Academy of Science of European Integration, and Mr. Xue Hao, President of COSDF, Visited Beijing DHH Law Firm to Discuss Sino-Ukrainian Cooperation

On August 7th, Mr. Alexander, the former Ukrainian Minister of Energy as well as the current Chairman of the Ukrainian Academy of Science of European Integration, Mr. Vitaliy, President of Ukrainian Association of Oriental Medicine, and Mr. Xue Hao, Chairman of China Overseas- Educated Scholars Development Foundation (COSDF), visited Beijing DHH Law Firm. Managing Partner Qi Jiang, Director Kejiang Liu, Director Hao Chen, Lawyer Xiaowan Tian, and Lawyer Lu Wang showed them around the office and discussed issues about investment and financing between China and Ukraine.
Mr. Jiang stressed that trade cooperation between China and Ukraine would embrace new opportunities under the Belt and Road Initiative; Chairman Alexander introduced current political, economic and technological environment of Ukraine. And Lawyer Tian interpreted the legal risks and preventive measures of Chinese investors investing in Ukraine based on Ukrainian legislation. Subsequently, Lawyer Wang took a case of European cross-border investment she handled in the UK as an example to share the process of Chinese investors investing in Europe and the way to enter the European market with Ukraine as a bridge. In the end, Director Chen shared relevant issues on cross-border intellectual property rights and had in-depth discussions with the visitors.
