Mr. Shaohu Luan Led a Delegation to Attend the SELECTUSA SUMMIT and the Annual Meeting of China General Chamber of Commerce – USA (CGCC) in Washington D.C.

From June 20th to 22nd, 2018, Mr. Shaohu Luan, Chairman of the Board of Partners of DHH, together with Ms. Yuexi Yao, Deputy Director of International Practice Center of DHH, Partner Ms. Yan Xin, Mr. Liang Mei and Mr. Yanhui Yang, attended the 2018 Select USA Investment Summit in Washington D.C., the capital of the United States. Up to now, the summit has been held for five sessions, while DHH has attended four sessions successively. The summit was attended by a total of more than 3000 people, who were representatives of the enterprises and institutions for economic & trade investment from 66 nations and regions as well as the U.S. state governments for economic development and trade, including 248 Chinese enterprise representatives; and all the participants jointly discussed the opportunities for direct investment to the United States under Trump Administration. Moreover, Secretary of Commerce Mr. Wilbur Ross, Secretary of Treasury Mr. Mnuchin, Secretary of State Mr. Mike Pompeo, and Secretary of Energy Mr. Rick Perry attended the summit and delivered a speech respectively. In addition, 10 Governors of Kentucky, Oklahoma, Utah, Idaho, Indiana, and other 5 states also attended the summit and made remarks to promote investment opportunities to attract foreign investors. It was reported that transactions of more than 0.6 billion USD in new direct investment projects were concluded during the 2018 Select USA Summit.
