The Training Activity on Legal Compliance for Russian Chinese-funded Enterprises Successfully Kicks Off

On May 29th (Moscow Time), the Training Activity on Legal Compliance for Russian Chinese-funded Enterprises was opened in Moscow Office of DHH. Han Tianyan, First Secretary of Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the Russian Federation, Luan Shaohu, Vice Chairman of Chinese General Chamber of Commerce in Russia, Yuan Yi, Executive Vice Chairman of Federation of Overseas Chinese in Russia, and Yang Haiyi, Co-head of Greenwood DHH China Law Center attended the opening ceremony.
 

Serving as a part of the work arrangements of Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the Russian Federation, this training was organized by the Legal Branch of Chinese General Chamber of Commerce in Russia to gather dozens of its member Russian local law firms aspiring to providing services for Chinese-funded enterprises in Russia. And the training aimed to enhance the legal compliance level of Chinese-funded enterprises investing in Russia under the Belt and Road Initiative, thus to prevent commercial risk and achieve sustainable development. This training lasted for two days, during which 10 Russian law firms respectively interpreted the existing laws, policies and regulations in Russia. And a total of more than 50 people attended the training activity, including enterprise leaders and representatives of legal department and risk management department from the Chinese-funded enterprises in Russia, such as China National Tourism Administration, China Development Bank, Bank of China, Industrial & Commercial Bank of China, Agricultural Bank of China, State Grid Corporation of China, China Telecom, China Export & Credit Insurance Corporation, China State Construction Engineering Corporation, CITIC Construction Co., Ltd, Hainan Airlines, Sichuan Airlines, Brilliance Auto, Triangle Tire Co., Ltd, LiuGong Group and Ruston Express etc.
