Partner of Clarke Willmott Law Firm Helen Tse Visits Beijing DHH Law Firm

Recently, Helen Tse, the partner of Clarke Willmott Law Firm, was invited by Beijing DHH Law Firm to visit DHH’s office and hold a seminar. Other guests attending the seminar included Jim James, the vice-chairman of the UK-China Commerce Committee, the founder and president of EASTWEST and the member of “Light of Leadership Team” of British Council, and Simon Littlewood, the CEO of China Innovative Finance Group Limited and the co-founder of Leisure Time Holdings. The director and senior partner of Beijing DHH Law Firm Mr. Liu Kejiang and the lawyers of International Practice Center warmly received the guests.
Helen Tse graduated from the University of Cambridge and obtained LL.B. and LL.M degrees. At present, she is the partner of Clarke Willmott and also a member of Clarke Willmott’s Chinese Affairs Department mainly dedicating herself to help Chinese companies invest in the UK and British companies invest in China. Helen made a speech called Doing Business After Brexit, which in detail introduced the investment situation, major investment areas, legal practice and the dos and don'ts when investing in the UK for Chinese companies. The lawyers at the seminar also deeply discussed the issues including taxation, foreign exchange control, loan financing, market access and trading architecture design.
After the seminar, Helen gave her newly issued book--Doing Business After Brexit: A Practical Guide to the Legal Changes to Mr. Liu Kejiang as a gift.
