President Jiang Qi Was Invited to Attend 9th Seminar on Law of Mainland China, Hong Kong and Macao

On 14th Sep. 2017, President Jiang Qi was invited to attend 9th Seminar on Law of Mainland China, Hong Kong and Macao. Department of Justice Affairs Services, Macao undertook the ceremony in the name of China Law Society, Department of Justice Affairs Services, Macao, and Hong Kong Law Forum. More than 120 legal experts and legal practitioners attended the ceremony probed into “One Belt, One Road” legal questions.
Vice Chair of China Law Society, Zhang Sujun, Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macao S.A.R., Chen Sixi, Head of Department of Justice Affairs Services, Macao, Liu Dexue, Vice Director of Social and Legal System Committee of CPPCC, the highly esteemed senior barrister, President of Hong Kong Law Forum, Liao Changcheng gave speeches at the opening ceremony, and served as host guest with Qiu Manling, Director of The Office of the Secretary for Administration and Justice.
President Jiang Qi delivered a speech on legal issues of parallel litigation among mainland China, Hong Kong and Macao. Based on his practice experience, Jiang Qi instructed various legal issues that could appear in reality on the backgrounds of “One Belt One Road”, involving its backgrounds, jurisdiction and conflicts, application of law, recognition and execution of judgment, got unanimous approval of the participants.
Wang Wei, Vice Director of China Legal Exchange Center, Zou Canji, honorary advisor of Hong Kong Law Forum, and Tu Guangjian, professor of Macao University gave speeches on the closing ceremony. Representative officials, scholars and lawyers come from mainland China, Hong Kong and Macao attended the seminar.
