On the afternoon of December 3, President Zhou Liqun of the Russian-Chinese General Chamber of Commerce visited Beijing DHH Law Firm, met with Luan Shaohu, Chairman of the DHH’s Partners Meeting, Liu Kejiang, Director of Beijing DHH Law Firm, and Jiang Bo, Executive Director of DHH. Partners Huang Zhenda and Liu Xuexuan gave a warm welcome.
After listening to the report on the development of the law firm’s business, President Zhou Liqun first praised Beijing DHH Law Firm on behalf of the General Chamber of Commerce. They have been actively engaged in the construction of the Belt and Road Initiative for five years and deployed Moscow branch in Russia and the St. Petersburg branch, and led the establishment of the General Chamber of Commerce Legal Industry Branch to provide Chinese-Russian legal education and legal services in China and Russia for Chinese companies and overseas Chinese in Russia. At the same time, Chairman Zhou combined with the spirit of the joint communiqué of the 25th regular meeting between the prime ministers of China and Russia and proposed that Luan Shaohu, Vice President of the China General Chamber of Commerce in Russia, President of the Law Branch of the General Chamber of Commerce and Director Liu Kejiang and Director Yuan Yi, Executive President of the General Chamber of Commerce, will immediately organize lawyers from China and Russia to focus on the following three tasks: First, we must continue to use various methods and channels to do our best to fight the epidemic and prevent the epidemic. The publicity, education and implementation of a series of new laws and policies will make their due contribution to the cooperation between China and Russia to take the lead in the fight against epidemics and epidemic prevention. The second is to continue to organize the current Russian lawyers of China and Russia to do a good job. On the basis of our own epidemic prevention measures, we will try our best to advise and protect rights in accordance with the law for Chinese-funded Chinese enterprises, Chinese and overseas Chinese who have encountered many legal problems during the epidemic in Russia; Third, we must continue to rely on the branch network platform of DHH in various provinces and regions in China. Great positive publicity on the improvement of the rule of law in Russia and the improvement of the business environment, and cooperate with the Russia-China Chamber of Commerce in attracting investment in the host country.
During the inspection and visit, Chairman Zhou also met with Chen Hongwei, director of the "Belt and Road Legal Services" project team of Legal Daily, Luan Shan, executive vice president of the group, and Cheng Yalin, director of the International Department.
