DHH Hold Sino-Russian Lawyers Cooperation Symposium in Moscow

Beijing DHH Law Firm made further progress in cooperation with Russian lawyers after holding the first 2018 Sino-Russia Investment and Legal Service Pioneer Forum. On February 7, 2018, Beijing DHH Law Firm held Sino-Russian Lawyers Cooperation Symposium at Ukraine Hotel in Moscow. The symposium was private in the form of “firm to firm” and “one to one”. The chairman of the partners’ meeting of DHH Luan Shaohu, the director of Beijing DHH Law Firm Liu Kejiang, the director of DHH Moscow Office Yuan Yi, the executive director of DHH Moscow Office Yao Yuan and the director of DHH St. Petersburg Office respectively hosted one of the five sessions of the symposium. The invited law firms were all among the top 50 law firms in Russia, over 20 Russian lawyers from law firms including Liniya Prava、ЮСТ、Юридическая группа «Парадигма» 、"Георгиев и Партнеры"、Hinkels Law Firm、Адвокатская контора «Бажинов и Партнеры»、ETERNA LAW、CMS、"Надмитов, Иванов и Партнеры"、Maalouf Ashford Tablot、АВЕЛАН and over 10 lawyers from DHH Moscow Office participated in the symposium.
The symposium lasted for half a day, the both sides extensively discussed the topics of cooperation pattern, cooperation areas, cooperation principles, charging standard and how to better serve Chinese enterprises in Russia, and they reached an agreement of preliminary cooperation. As the only president setup of the Legal Branch of the Russian Chinese General Chamber of Commerce, DHH Moscow Office initiated the present law firms into the Legal Branch of the Russian Chinese General Chamber of Commerce and the initiative obtained significant support from them. The law firms as well hospitably invited Chairman Luan Shaohu to visit their law firms and attend related cooperation agreement signing ceremonies.
