DHH Holds Young Lawyers Debate Competition
On May 2nd the Judicial Cases Research Institute, the DHH and the Youth Committee of DHH held the DHH Young Lawyers Debate Competition. Participants from the DHH's Offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Jinan and Qingdao presented a brilliant debate competition on the topic “Whether a Judicial Process for Criminal Liabilities Can be Launched with respect to the Bohai Bay 19-3 Oilfield Oil Spill Occurrence”. After fierce competition the Pros (composed of Ding Shanhong, Xiao Yuncheng, Liang Maoqing and Yuan Mingshang) won the debate, and the leader of the Pros Ding Shanhong won the “Best Debater” award.
The debate competition was presided over by Jiang Baoliang, the Director the Training Department of the Youth Committee. The competition judges included senior partners Mao Hongtao, Yu Haisheng, Liu Kejiang, partner Xie Yuxin and Prof. Jia Shuxue, all of whom delivered wonderful comments on the debate.
