Luan Shaohu Participates in Reception of Visitors From Taiwan Bar Association and Ministry of Justice of Taiwan
On the morning of August 27 a delegation from the Taiwan Bar Association, comprising more than 20 members and led by President Lin Chunrong and Vice President Lin Tiancai, visited the All China Lawyers Association (ACLA). The two parties discussed “the roles and functions of lawyers in promoting and safeguarding bilateral investment”.
Hosts present included President Wang Junfeng and Vice President Zhang Xue of ACLA, Standing Council members of ACLA Luan Shaohu, Tong Lihua and Wang Lihua, the General Secretary of ACLA Criminal Committee Han Jiayi, and Director Lanhong and Deputy Director Song Rui of the Taiwan Affairs Office of ACLA.
In the afternoon of the same day a delegation of the Ministry of Justice of Taiwan visited the ACLA.Visitors included Vice Minister Cai Qingxiang, Director Cheng Wenqi of the International and Cross-Strait Department, Deputy Director Wang Wende of the Comprehensive Planning Department and Liu Yingxiu of the Legal System Department. Both parties discussed issues concerning cross-strait judicial assistance.
