- Legal counsel for Shanshan (stock code: SH600884), advising on a major asset restructuring and cross-border M&A transaction where the company acquired the LCD business in Mainland China, Taiwan, and Republic of Korea from LG Chem through the establishment of a joint venture. This transaction, valued at USD 1.1 billion, was the largest acquisition and asset restructuring project by a privately-held Chinese listed company in 2020.
- Provided full legal services for Heineken in setting up a beer production base in Jiashan, Zhejiang, including investment structure design, land acquisition, project construction, and government approvals and compliance matters.
- Legal services for Procter & Gamble (P&G), a Fortune 500 company, in acquiring a 30% stake in Gillette (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., held by a subsidiary of the Chinese state-owned enterprise Bright Food Group.
- Legal services for Mindspeed Technologies, a U.S. company, in selling its wireless infrastructure business (China portion) to Intel.
- Legal counsel for Cellular Biomedicine Group (NASDAQ: CBMG), a NASDAQ-listed biopharmaceutical company, on corporate restructuring, equity financing, cross-border M&A, and VIE (Variable Interest Entity) structure matters.
- Legal services for WA Healthcare, a high-end medical service institution, in selling 70% of its equity to iKang Healthcare Group, Inc., including transaction structure design, negotiations, drafting and finalizing transaction documents, government approvals and filings, and the closing process.
