The opening ceremony of the academic summit was presided over by Lawyer WAN Jiaqi, Director of the Secretariat of the Business Center of Beijing DHH Law Firm. Lawyer Hu Ming, Chairperson of DHH Partners' Meeting and Director of the DHH Research Institute, delivered the opening address. In her speech, Director HU reviewed the development of the DHH Academic Summit and the DHH Research Institute over the past five years, expressed gratitude to the experts and scholars present, and sincerely hoped that everyone could deepen understanding, exchange ideas, and jointly promote the development of the legal profession and the progress of the rule of law construction through the event.
Professor JIAO Hongchang stated in his speech that he had truly felt the influence of DHH lawyers in legal research and expressed his respect and best wishes. Building on the foundation of the first five sessions, the 6th DHH Academic Summit leveraged its accumulated strengths to deliver a full-day main forum and two parallel forums, where participants delved into dozens of cutting-edge legal topics. Laywer DUAN Zhigang, Senior Equity Partner of DHH and Director of the DHH Research Institute's Jinan Branch, and Lawyer BAI Yaohua, Senior Equity Partner of DHH and Director of the DHH Research Institute's Shanghai Branch, served as moderators for the two parallel forums.
As the event drew to a close, Professor CHENG Lei, Vice Dean of the Law School of Renmin University of China, delivered a concluding address for the entire academic event. Professor CHENG provided an impartial overall evaluation of the conference's presentations and offered constructive expectations, wishing DHH lawyers continued progress and anticipating an even more remarkable event next year.
