Major Commercial Dispute Resolution:

1. Represented the listed company Shengyun Environmental (300090) in a series of disputes involving financial loans and guarantees, commercial factoring, financial leasing, pledged securities repurchase, securities misrepresentation liability, cooperative share purchase agreements, bond issuance, and share repurchases. Adjudicating bodies included High People's Courts of Guangdong, Sichuan, Hubei, Anhui provinces; Intermediate People's Courts of Shenzhen, Chengdu, Wuhan, Hefei; and CIETAC, SCIA, Wuhan Arbitration Commission, Hefei Arbitration Commission. Total amount in dispute exceeded RMB 3 billion;
2. Represented Mr. Kai in two pledged securities repurchase disputes with Wanhe Securities and First Capital Securities (Shenzhen Intermediate Court, Guangdong High Court), total amount RMB 420 million;
3. Represented Foshan Xia Yan E-commerce Company in an equity investment dispute, Hongwan Capital Management Company in an equity investment dispute, Mr. Gu versus Shanghai Kanshi Yizheng Asset Management Company and Huatai Securities, and Mr. Lin versus Guangzhou Jiyan Asset Management Company in private fund contract disputes, total amount involved exceeding RMB 150 million;
4. Represented Mr. Tang in five cases concerning invalid equity transfers against Guangzhou Ankou Trading, Guangzhou Lafu Trading, and Guangzhou No.1 Trading Company (total amount RMB 50 million);
5. Represented Mr. Li in suing to confirm the invalidity of the low-price transfer of 9.393 million shares of UBox Online (Hong Kong listed, stock code: HK02429, market value HKD 150 million) by five defendants;
6. Represented LOMUS CO., LTD (BVI) in a series of cases against Mr. Guo concerning commissioned contracts, recovering direct economic losses of RMB 10.49 million for the client, obtaining over RMB 2 million in compensation, and regaining full control over the corporate chops, bank accounts, and management rights of the domestic invested enterprise;
7. Represented a Foshan investment consulting company and Ms. Gu in an arbitration at SCIA against Shenzhen Hongwan Venture Investment Co., Ltd. and Hongwan Capital Management Co., Ltd. regarding priority distribution rights in a fund investment contract (amount RMB 2.92 million);
8. Represented Mr. Zeng et al. in a securities misrepresentation case against Foshan Lighting (000541); represented Mr. Liang in applying for a retrial in a share dispute against Haige Communication (002465);
9. Represented clients in Company Law-related disputes including shareholder status confirmation and liability for harming company interests for a Foshan Shunde property management company; shareholder right to information for a Foshan accounting service consulting company; shareholder status confirmation and profit distribution for a Foshan financial services investment company.

Economic Crimes & Criminal Defense:

1. Represented Mr. Zhang and two others in accusing Mr. Zhou, Mr. Mo, Mr. Chen, etc., of suspected fund-raising fraud, involving illegal fund-raising of RMB 273 million. Mr. Zhou was sentenced to 15 years and a fine of RMB 5 million for fund-raising fraud; accomplices were sentenced to 8-13 years for fund-raising fraud and illegal absorption of public deposits, Oct 2021;
2. Served as defense counsel for Mr. Yang suspected of smuggling ordinary goods, involving tax evasion of RMB 4 million. The second instance reduced the sentence from 12 years to 10 years and the fine from RMB 4.2 million to RMB 1.5 million, Oct 2022;
3. Served as defense counsel for Mr. Li suspected of insurance fraud. A non-prosecution decision was made during the procuratorate's review and prosecution stage, Apr 2025;
4. Served as litigation representative for the victim in the Mr. Zhang intentional homicide case. The initial charge requested by the police for procuratorate approval was intentional injury causing death; after the representative's involvement, the charge was changed to intentional homicide, resulting in a final verdict of guilty and immediate death penalty, Oct 2023;
5. Served as defense counsel for Mr. Chen involved in non-state functionary bribery. The procuratorate recommended a custodial sentence, but the court ultimately sentenced to probation, Dec 2023;
6. Served as defense counsel for Mr. Yang involved in crime of refusing to execute a judgment. The procuratorate did not approve arrest during the police investigation stage, successfully obtained bail and case dismissal, Mar 2023;
7. Served as defense counsel for Mr. Li suspected of fraud. The procuratorate did not approve arrest during the police investigation stage, successfully obtained bail and case dismissal, Jun 2023;
8. Served as defense counsel for Mr. Ke suspected of fraud. The procuratorate did not approve arrest during the police investigation stage, successfully obtained bail and case dismissal, Jul 2023;
9. Served as defense counsel for Mr. Zhuo suspected of fraud. The procuratorate did not approve arrest during the police investigation stage, successfully obtained bail and case dismissal, Jan 2022;
10. Served as defense counsel for Mr. Lu suspected of environmental pollution. The procuratorate did not approve arrest during the police investigation stage, successfully obtained bail and case dismissal, Jun 2021;
11. Served as defense counsel for Mr. Huang suspected of environmental pollution. The procuratorate did not approve arrest during the police investigation stage, successfully obtained bail and case dismissal, May 2021;
12. Served as defense counsel for Mr. Yuan suspected of duty encroachment. The police withdrew the case during the investigation stage, Jan 2021;
13. Served as defense counsel for Mr. Liu suspected of extortion. Obtained bail during both investigation and prosecution stages; the court ultimately sentenced to probation, Dec 2020;
14. Served as defense counsel for Mr. Zhang suspected of illegal business operations. Intervened after procuratorate approval of arrest, successfully applied for bail and case dismissal from the police, Jul 2020;
15. Served as representative for Mr. Tu in a criminal complaint for suspected duty encroachment. Reached a settlement with the accuser, who withdrew the complaint with the police, Sep 2019;
16. Served as defense counsel for Mr. Ou suspected of selling counterfeit registered trademark goods. The court ultimately sentenced to probation, Aug 2019.
