Professional Experience

　　Dr. Liu Kejiang attained a bachelor's degree after graduating from China University of Political Science and Law in 1996. In 2007, he earned an MBA degree from the University of Glasgow. In July 2019, he graduated from the University of International Business and Economics as a Doctor of Economic Law. From October to December 2013, as a "Leading Lawyer of Foreign Affairs" of the All China Lawyers Association, he attended and completed the training program on cross-border M&A at the University of Hamburg. In November 2016, he completed the training program on international commercial arbitration at BPP University in London.

　　Dr. Liu used to work at government agencies and state-owned enterprises. In August 2001, he became a full-time lawyer and has accumulated more than 20 years of experience in providing legal services. Dr. Liu had short-term business visits to Hogan Lovells International LLP London Office and Bird&Bird Hamburg Office.

Representative Cases

　　• Represented three large concrete manufacturers in Jiangxi Province in an administrative litigation against the State Administration for Market Regulation and the Administration for Market Regulation of Jiangxi Province about antitrust, with the subject matter of the case involving more than 100 million yuan;

　　• Commissioned by the regulator, assessed the self-inspection issues and corrective measures regarding monopoly and the implementation of corrective measures and the implementation of corrective measures by six enterprises, named Ke Holdings, Jd.Com, 58 Information Technology, Qihoo 360 Technology, iQIYI and ByteDance;

　　• Provided special legal services to a domestically-held overseas bank which intended to provide financing services to a Cayman fund partner, in respect of the entire process of the Cayman fund pledge, and assisted the client in completing the pledge financing;

　　• Represented China Construction X Group Corporation in a construction contract dispute with a company in Tianjin involving more than 80 million yuan, and won the case;

　　• Represented Tianyuan Manganese Industry Group in the cross-border trade and financing project, including project negotiation, trading scheme demonstration, drafting, reviewing, revising finalizing and signing a full set of cross-border transaction documents such as procurement, financing and guarantee, and assisted with the communication and coordination with the client's overseas subsidiaries;

　　• Represented a listed company in Beijing in the mining M&A project in Indonesia, providing due diligence, contract review, business negotiation and other legal services;

　　• Represented a state-owned enterprise in a huge amount assets misappropriation case in Russia, safeguarding the client's rights through litigation, diplomacy, and other approaches;

　　• Served as the legal counsel for Kuaishou's project in Russia and provided full-process legal services of issuing legal opinions and reviewing contracts for its investment project;

　　• Represented Cernet in the 70-million-yuan contract dispute at CIETAC, as well as first instance, second instance and retrial of asset leasing dispute between the two parties;

　　• Served as legal counsel and provided full-process legal services to Ahlstrom Corporation (Finland);

　　• Provided environmental investigation, due diligence, business negotiation and other legal services to Anhui Conch Cement Company regarding acquisition and company establishment in Philippines;

　　• Provided full-process legal services of due diligence, equity structure design and acquisition related contract documents to Inspur Group regarding its acquisition of a Russian company;

　　• Provided full-process legal services to Haining China Leather City Co., Ltd. regarding investment, acquisition and establishment of a new company in Russia;

　　• Provided full legal services to Anhui Conch Cement Company Limited regarding its 500-million-dollar cement investment project in Ulyanovsk, Russia;

　　• Provided full-process legal services of due diligence, drafting agreements, negotiation, etc. to a listed company regarding establishment of a joint venture involving 60-million-dollar investment in Russia;

　　• Provided legal services to Changjiu Logistics regarding its acquisition of a German Logistics Auto Parts Co., Ltd., including cross-border M&A, local company governance and compliance, structure design of overseas multi-agent transaction, financing lease, overseas loan under domestic guarantee, foreign exchange control and profit return and other services;

　　• Entrusted by Allens Arthur Robinson (Australia) to provide due diligence on a Chinese company and issue legal opinions;

　　• Issued legal opinions on housing transaction contract negotiation of the Bank of China Tower between Bank of China (Hong Kong) Ltd. and Qingdao International Finance Center;

　　• Provided full-process legal services for the equity pledge loan project between TEL Ledertechnik GmbH and Societge Generale (France);

　　• Represented Beijing Wiscom System Co.,Ltd. in the dispute over 80-million-yuan pallet trading contract;
