  Dr Leo (Rundong) Liu is an expert in cross-border investment and international trade-related dispute resolution and risk management. He has held positions in well-known arbitration institutions and law firms both domestically and internationally. Leo served as the Chief Representative of China at the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC), where he was responsible for all aspects of work in the Greater China area, including case consultation, think tank support, cooperation with domestic and international arbitration institutions, government public relations, etc.

  He has been employed by many Fortune-500 companies, especially for advanced manufacturing enterprises. He is adept at aligning compliance and risk management with the client's business objectives. He has led several influential cases responding to government investigations, sanctions, and export controls, accumulating a wealth of experience in the process. He also takes the lead in establishing a standardized service routine for clients, including monitoring, compliance, risk control, response, lobbying support, dispute resolution, etc.

  In terms of dispute resolution, he has successfully handled litigation and arbitration cases with a total dispute in a sum exceeding billions and has appeared independently in international commercial arbitration and mediation on numerous occasions. He has a flexible and assertive style and is familiar with the rules and procedures of most well-known domestic and international arbitration institutions, and is adept at defending the rights and interests of the clients and achieving the most favorable settlements. What he is most praised for by his clients is his repeated achievements in loss recovery and enforcement in complex and difficult cases through comprehensive services such as enforceability investigations, cross-border enforcement, anti-money laundering, and the offense of refusing to execute judgments and rulings.
