Experience of Work and Practice
From 1999 to 2013, Mr. Huang served as the Head of Audit and Legal Affairs Department of, as well as held senior managerial positions at Head Office and major industrial groups of, HNA Group Co., Ltd..
He has been practicing law full time since 2014, and has served as legal counsel in compliance, risk control and major specific sophisticated affairs for multiple large business groups. He has also served as director and supervisor at several domestic public companies and a public company in Hong Kong, and thus knows well the capital market.

Aviation Industrial Investment and Aviation Management Businesses
1. From 1999 to 2013, Mr. Huang took charge of dispute resolution, specific legal affair services and other major legal affairs of HNA Group, including without limitation merger, acquisition and restructuring of aviation companies, restructuring of aviation businesses, airports, hotels and tourist businesses and resolution of investment disputes and contract disputes.
2. In 2021, he worked with Beijing Business Aviation Association to assist Navigation, Transportation Division, Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) in drafting the departmental regulatory document (Regulations on the Administration of Business Activities Carried out by Foreign General Aviation Companies in China) regarding the management of foreign business jets to China. The document was officially included in the national legislative program in 2022 and listed by CAAC as one of the key legislative programs of civil aviation special plan for the "Fourteenth Five-Year Plan".
3. In 2025, he provided full-process non-litigation specialized services for a back-to-back cross-border aircraft engine financial leasing project of a certain leasing company, with a subject matter amount of nearly 5 million US dollars.
4. In 2023, he represented a major state-owned enterprise in Inner Mongolia in a dispute over the performance of a contract for the purchase of three aircraft with France's ATR Company. Through six rounds of negotiations over eight months, we successfully resolved the dispute amicably on behalf of our client, thereby avoiding potential claims to the greatest extent possible. Our efforts were highly recognized by the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Government and the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC).
5. In 2024, he represented a certain aviation development company in Xuzhou in a dispute over the performance of a contract for the purchase of three aircraft with France's ATR Company. The case is progressing smoothly and is expected to be resolved satisfactorily soon.
6. In 2024, he provided full-process legal services for the cross-border wet lease project of three aircraft between COMAC (China Commercial Aircraft Corporation) and a foreign airline, and led the organization and management of the foreign law firms involved.
7. In 2019, he was successfully included in the global lawyers’ pool of Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, Ltd. which is a Chinese state-owned company, provided legal services throughout the export of the first ARJ21 of China, and led the management of foreign law firms.
8. In July 2020, he served as the counsel for the specific legal services in connection with the purchase and sale contract and joint-venture contract for H135 between a state-owned group company and Europe-based AIRBUS, with legal opinions issued and the case concluded satisfactorily.
9. In February 2021, he served as the legal counsel of Qingdao Airlines Co., Ltd. to represent the company in handling aviation related legal affairs and cases at home and abroad.
10. In 2021, he served as the legal counsel of Nanshan Business Jet Co., Ltd., and helped the client dispose of a Gulfstream 650 outside China.
11. In 2021, he served as the legal counsel of Nanshan International Flying School.
12. In 2020, he was selected as the sole legal service provider for Beijing Business Aviation Association, assisted nearly 200 members of the Association in business and legal consultancy concerning nearly 300 private airplanes, and coordinated the Association and law firms to release annual white papers of business aviation.
13. In March 2020, he represented a domestic airline in the foreign-related international arbitration case at CEITAC with a subject matter worth approximately USD40 million over the dispute arising from the operating and leasing of 3 Boeing 737 airplanes against an international air lease company, and helped the client avoid losses of approximately USD10 million.
14. In 2020, he provided special legal advisory services for the logistics Ezhou Airport project of Shunfeng Aviation Holding.
15. In 2021, he represented a business jet company in Hong Kong in a litigation case over the claim of custody fee against a foreign register company.
16. In 2022, he served as the legal counsel of an aviation development company limited in Xuzhou, and provided legal consultancy services and legal advice concerning its daily management and related business in Xuzhou Airport Economic Development Zone.
17. In 2022, he represented an airline company with a chartered service company, and the dispute over a cross-border chartered service contract in South Korea was successfully reversed to exempt the customer from more than 20 million yuan of debt claims.
"Belt and Road" international trade and cross-border services (including litigation and non-litigation)
18. In August 2020, Mr. Huang represented the Hong Kong branch of a domestic public company against an American company in an international arbitration case over the disputes of foreign borrowings – domestic joint venture – joint-venture dissolution – return of borrowings, which was arbitrated by ICC at Hong Kong International Chamber of Commerce. The case came to a satisfactory end. He helped the client in the application of recognition and enforcement of the award in mainland China. The award was fully enforced in March 2022 with due and payable amounts paid overseas via fund transfer.
19. Since April 2020, he represented a public petroleum engineering company in an arrearage dispute arising from a contract about a foreign engineering of Iraq oil field, assisted the client in reconciliation and negotiation in accordance with the terms of arbitration agreement, coordinated the two parties to file legal opinions, and enabled the reconciliation before arbitration with arrearage substantially recovered. (the subject matter was worth USD30 million, and was subject to arbitration at the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA) as agreed)
20. In September 2021, he represented a global technical provider in Barbados, the Caribbean Region against 7 Chinese companies in a case with a subject matter worth USD13.9 million over the dispute arising from the trade of pandemic face masks, and provided special non-litigation legal consultancy services including issuing a demanding letter. In November, he was further appointed to represent the provider to initiate the foreign-related litigation procedure against two of said Chinese companies with the subject matter worth USD 8.49 million.
21. In August 2020, he was engaged by a domestic public company to coordinate the law firms in six countries (including Pakistan, UAE, Iraq, Chad and Kazakhstan) to issue 20 specific letters of legal opinions concerning the foreign engineering projects of the company, including the engineering projects located in the six countries aforesaid, for private placement of shares, coordinated and assisted the client in review, enabled the client to pass the review by China Securities Regulatory Commission at one time, and helped the client in issuance of additional shares.
22. In April 2022, he provided legal service to a domestic public company in recovering the final payment for the equipment used in a project of petroleum engineering in Kazakhstan, and enabled the client to sign a reconciliation agreement with the project owner in Kazakhstan and be indemnified against.
23. In 2022, he assisted a domestic listed enterprise in participating in the construction project of a power plant in Mexico, bidding for about $330 million and winning the contract, as well as assisting in the local acquisition of special purpose companies and their smooth completion and operation.
24. In 2025, he assisted a domestic listed company as a subcontractor in participating in the exploration, development and production project of a certain oil field in Iraq, providing full-process non-litigation specialized services.
Settlement of Domestic Civil and Commercial Disputes and Enterprise Reorganization and Bankruptcy
25. In 2020, he represented a public company in the release and certification of a commercial real property subject to judicial seizure in Shenzhen, and accomplished the engagement to the fastest extend with the ownership authenticated and the real property released within 3 months (the subject matter was worth RMB30 million).
26. In 2020, he was engaged by a public bank in a case with a subject matter worth RMB500 million over the dispute arising from the loan guarantee with a public company and an air travel group, and won the case with the judgement executed.
27. In September 2021, he was engaged by a financial asset management company limited in Shandong Province in a case with a subject matter worth RMB3500 million over the dispute arising from financial burrowing contract against an asset company in Guangdong.
28. In January 2021, he was engaged by an asset management company in Wuhai City to deal with the case with a subject matter worth RMB100 million over the dispute arising from the equity transfer against a large insolvent energy company.
29. In April 2021, he was engaged by a public tourist company in a case over the overall insolvency reorganization of a famous business group, including but not limited to filing an opposition against the substantial merger and reorganization, attending the hearings at the bankruptcy court, and protecting the client's legitimate investment interests by helping the public company to divert a financial platform company from the insolvency reorganization. He also represented the public company in the case over the corporate license and seal, in which the insolvent company was the plaintiff, and dismissed the lawsuit brought by the insolvent company and the claim for return of corporate license and common seal.
30. From October 2020, he was engaged by a large chemical company to deal with an insolvency reorganization project with an investment value of RMB2300 million, including but not limited to issuing legal opinions, offering legal consultancy services, due diligence, handling litigation related matters, applying for insolvency reorganization, communicating with and reporting to the government, promoting the collaboration between the government and courts, being elected as a member of the insolvency reorganization team designated by the government and a member of the liquidation team identified by bankruptcy court, and leading and coordinating the whole process of the project.
31. In 2022, he served as the legal counsel of a logistic distribution company limited and a real estate development company limited, both in Hainan, provided legal services and opinions concerning their daily management and the release of the mortgaged land against a public company under HNA, and managed to resolve the disputes and conflicts among the parties.
32. In 2022, he assisted a listed securities company in providing special defense services for bankruptcy intervention in the implementation of 80 million yuan of creditor's rights, successfully completed bankruptcy defense services, and assisted clients in successfully completing the transfer procedures of compulsory auction of creditor's rights.
