Working Experience as Professor:

Ms. CHEN Yanhong, Doctor of Law, serves as Founding Director of Research Center for New Financial Law of North China Electric Power University and Associate Professor and Master Supervisor at this university. She obtained a Bachelor's degree in Law and a dual Bachelor's degree in English and American Literature in 2003, then a Master's degree in International Law in 2006, and a Doctoral degree in International Law (during this period, she worked as a visiting scholar in the United States for one year) in 2014. She, in 2009, was awarded the title of lecturer; in 2018, she was appointed as a Master Supervisor; and in 2020, she was granted with the title of Associate Professor. She has presided over multiple special research projects commissioned by the State Council, provided high-level advisory opinions, and obtained instructions from national leaders.
She also serves as a College Evaluation Expert of the Evaluation Quality Evaluation Agency of the Ministry of Education; a Doctoral and Master's Thesis Review Expert of China Academic Degrees and Graduate Education Development Center (CDGDC); an off-campus Supervisor for Master's Thesis Review of China University of Political Science and Law for consecutive years; a Researcher of China Enterprise Reform and Development Society; a Professor of ADR Teaching in English of Macau University of Science and Technology; an Expert Member of the Expert Pool of Legal Daily who has been included in the pool for many years; a Drafter of Evaluation Standards for Compliance Management System for Chinese Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, etc.
Since her career as a professor for 18 years she has been mainly engaged in research in international economic
law, international commercial legal affairs, international financial law, and international high-end civil and commercial dispute resolution. She establishes the basic theory of teaching of simulating international commercial arbitration court, builds a model for retrieving laws and regulations on international financial regulation, and overcomes the prominent problem of claims for disputes resolution in maritime law. Her academic level is unanimously recognized by the academic community. Recently, she focuses on researching new financial laws, legal issues related to PBC's digital currency, legal risk prevention and control for state-owned enterprises, legal regulations for light finance and other topics. She has published 6 books, 22 papers in CSSCI or other journals above the level of CSSCI, and over 100 other papers, has won multiple national and provincial awards for her academic achievements. She also takes charge of several vertical and horizontal projects at the level of the Research Office of the State Council, the Committee of Political and Legal Affairs, and the Beijing Social Science Foundation. She has received instructions from national leaders for several times, won the school-level excellence award in teaching as the first person-in-charge, and obtained the first place in the Basic Teaching Skills Competition of Young Teachers. The Case of Zeeco, Inc. v. JPMorgan Chase Bank on Bank Guarantee Fraud , a teaching case she made, has been included in the case library of the China Professional.
Master's Degree Teaching Case Center. She is the chief editor of the 21st century planed textbook for colleges and universities, namely, The Economic Law, and a Specially-appointed Researcher of "North China Electric Power University Regional Rule of Law and Judicial Governance Research Center", the Key Research Base for Humanities and Social Sciences in Hebei General Institutes of Higher Education. In addition, the Research Center for New Financial Law under her leadership has received unanimous praise in the industry.
