On April 22nd, 2025, a high-end business negotiation meeting focusing on deepening economic and trade cooperation and helping Chinese enterprises explore the Brazilian market was held in Beijing. The Brazilian business delegation, including the former Minister of Agriculture of Brazil and founders of many leading Brazilian enterprises, participated in the meeting. Beijing DHH Law Firm aslo organized a gathering of entrepreneurs from various domestic industries, jointly kicking off this cross-border business exchange event.
The negotiation meeting was co-hosted by Lawyer LIU Sen, Senior Equity Partner of DHH, and Rafael Rosseto Batista, the Director of Brazil-China Chamber of Commerce (CCCB). Dr. LIU Kejiang, President of DHH, delivered a welcome speech, introducing the general situation of the law firm and looking forward to future cooperation. Mr. Itamar Francisco Machado Borges, Former Minister of Agriculture of Brazil, delivered a keynote speech titled "Overview of Brazil's politics, economy and culture, Brazil's policy direction, business opportunities for Chinese companies", analyzing the local business environment. Leonardo Salerno Soares, a reporter from Brazil's SBT TV station, expounded on the significance of international cooperation from a media perspective. Entrepreneurs such as Ricardo Gracia, Eduardo Espolador, the founder of the Brazilian footwear retail company PAGUE MENOS CALÇADOS, and Gustavo de Freitas Martino, the founder of the eyewear chain company MERCADÃO DOS ÓCULOS, respectively introduced their enterprises, demonstrating their cooperation intentions and market opportunities.
In the afternoon, Chinese and Brazilian enterprises participated in one-on-one business negotiations. Beijing DHH Law Firm provided professional translation services and legal consultations to ensure seamless communication.
