On the afternoon of December 29, 2025, the special lecture themed "Review and Insights on Spanish Arbitration Cases" was successfully held on the 50th floor of Wanbang Center in Qingdao. The event was jointly sponsored by the Foreign-Related Dispute Resolution Committee of Shandong Provincial Lawyers Association, the Business Development and Innovation Committee of Shandong Provincial Lawyers Association, the International Trade Arbitration Court of Qingdao Arbitration Commission, and the Foreign-Related Dispute Resolution Committee of Qingdao Lawyers Association, and was organized by Beijing DHH (Qingdao) Law Firm. The lecture specially invited Li Zhuying, a partner at the Nanjing office of Hylands Law Firm, an arbitrator with the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission, a leading foreign-related legal talent recognized by the All China Lawyers Association, and a member of the Ministry of Justice's pool of one thousand foreign-related lawyers, as the keynote speaker. The event drew the participation of numerous lawyers, university students, and relevant professionals.

The lecture centered on a recent overseas arbitration case handled by Lawyer Li Zhuying at the Arbitration Court of the Castellón Chamber of Commerce in the Valencian Community, Spain. Lawyer Li skillfully employed Socratic questioning to guide the audience step by step into the heart of the case, facilitating an interactive review. Starting from contract formation, he progressed layer by layer through key aspects such as the emergence of the dispute, the initiation of arbitration, the applicable law, the focal points of contention, and courtroom strategies. By integrating Chinese law, Spanish law, CISG, and international commercial practices relevant to the case, he stimulated the participants to contemplate practical strategies for resolving cross-border disputes.

Lawyer Zhang Meiping, the Director of the Foreign-Related Dispute Resolution Committee of the Shandong Provincial Lawyers Association, Vice President of the Qingdao Lawyers Association, President of the International Trade Arbitration Court of the Qingdao Arbitration Commission, and Director of Beijing DHH (Qingdao) Law Firm, attended the event. She pointed out that the law firm would continue to leverage its global network and professional resources, focusing on establishing a learning and practice platform for young lawyers.
