Strengthen Layout in Australia, Upgrade Sino-Australian Cross-Border Legal Services — DHH Signs Strategic Alliance Agreement with Australia's FCG Legal

2025-12-23
To further solidify its business presence in Australia and continuously enhance the bilateral legal service capabilities between China and Australia, in December 2025, Beijing DHH Law Firm signed a strategic alliance agreement with FCG Legal Pty Ltd in Melbourne, Australia. This collaboration not only represents a significant step for DHH in implementing its "internationalization" strategy but also builds a professional legal service bridge for cross-border clients between China and Australia, facilitating the efficient alignment of legal needs amidst the economic and trade exchanges between the two countries.

Deheng had already registered and established an office in Sydney, Australia, in 2017, providing bilateral legal services to clients in both China and Australia. The partnership between DHH&DH and FCG Legal will create a dual-hub support system with offices in both Sydney and Melbourne, further covering Australia's core legal service market.

According to the agreement, the two parties will engage in in-depth cooperation in core areas such as case collaboration, compliant brand usage, and lawyer practice collaboration. FCG Legal will provide localized support for lawyers conducting business in Australia, helping DHH&DH integrate more rapidly into the Australian legal service ecosystem and improving the responsiveness of cross-border services.

Li Xuxiu, the Managing Partner of DHH, stated that as Sino-Australian economic and trade cooperation continues to deepen and cross-border legal needs become increasingly diverse, this collaboration with FCG Legal not only implements the outcomes of exchanges in Australia in 2024 but also represents an important measure in the law firm's internationalization strategy. Going forward, the two parties will leverage their respective professional strengths to continuously broaden the scope of cooperation, innovate cooperation methods, consolidate professional service capabilities, jointly develop the Sino-Australian legal service market, and provide higher-quality cross-border legal services to corporate and individual clients.

Rodger Fernandez, the head of FCG Legal, expressed his anticipation for leveraging DHH's brand influence and access to the Chinese market to further expand legal service scenarios in China, assist Sino-Australian clients in achieving compliant development in cross-border business, and jointly propel the cooperation between the legal service industries of the two countries to new heights.
