Lawyers Zhang Meiping and Li Qinghua Successfully Completed Shandong Province's Advanced Training Program for Foreign-related Lawyers in Malaysia

From November 16 to 29, 2025, the Shandong Provincial Department of Justice and the Shandong Lawyers Association hosted an advanced training program for foreign-related lawyers from Shandong in Malaysia. Zhang Meiping,Director of Beijing DHH(Qingdao) Law Firm , and Li Qinghua,Senior Equity Partner at Beijing DHH(Jinan) Law Firm, were among the 30 outstanding foreign-related lawyers from across the province who participated.

During the on-site visits, Lawyers Zhang Meiping and Li Qinghua, along with the training cohort, visited the Malaysia-China Kuantan Industrial Park to gain insights into the practical experience and legal needs of Chinese enterprises regarding overseas compliance. They also visited the Federal Court of Malaysia and engaged in discussions with court staff on the operational mechanisms of the judicial system. Additionally, they held face-to-face discussions with the President of the Malaysian Bar and other dignitaries, exchanging views on topics such as the governance of the legal profession and cross-border legal service cooperation.

At the graduation ceremony, the Shandong Lawyers Association officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC), creating a broader platform for foreign-related lawyers to conduct their business. The Dean of the Faculty of Law at the University of Malaya presented graduation certificates to the participating lawyers, serving as an important testament to the training achievements, combining academic authority with practical value.

This training program not only further enhanced the professional competence of DHH lawyers in the legal practice fields of Malaysia and the ASEAN region but also expanded their cross-border cooperation resources. Looking ahead,DHH will continue to leverage its branch offices in Singapore and Indonesia to effectively connect regional cooperation networks, laying a solid foundation for providing precise compliance guidance and dispute resolution services tailored to the ASEAN investment needs of Shandong enterprises in the future.
