Yuan Yi, Director of Beijing DHH (Moscow) Law Firm, was recently invited to participate in an event for overseas members of the Legal Advisory Committee of the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese in Jiangsu and Anhui provinces. The opening ceremony of the 2025 "Belt and Road" Hub Economic and Trade Exchange Event for Overseas Chinese and the "Overseas Chinese Assisting Thousands of Enterprises and Products Going Global" Initiative Jiangsu Sub-venue was jointly hosted by the China Overseas Chinese Entrepreneurs Federation, the Jiangsu Provincial Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Jiangsu Province, the Jiangsu Provincial Overseas Exchange Association, and the Nanjing Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese. The event was attended by over 280 participants, including overseas Chinese business leaders and representatives of overseas Chinese organizations from 42 countries and regions across five continents; overseas members of the LAC of the China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese; representatives from provincial-level returned overseas Chinese federations of Shanghai, Zhejiang, Anhui, etc.; and responsible officials from relevant departments such as the Provincial People's Congress Ethnic and Religious Affairs Committee, the Provincial People's Congress Overseas Chinese Affairs Committee, the Provincial CPPCC Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Overseas Chinese and Foreign Affairs Committee, the China Zhi Gong Party Jiangsu Provincial Committee, and the Provincial Development and Reform Commission.

　　Cheng Hong, Vice Chairperson of the China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, attended the event and delivered a video speech. Hu Guangjie, Member of the Standing Committee of the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee and Minister of the United Front Work Department of the Provincial Party Committee, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. Zhao Yan, Vice Governor of Jiangsu Province, met with Vice Chairperson Cheng Hong and representatives of overseas guests. Wu Yongqiang, Member of the Standing Committee of the Nanjing Municipal Party Committee and Minister of the United Front Work Department of the Municipal Party Committee, delivered the welcome speech.

　　Yuan Yi, Director of Beijing DHH (Moscow) Law Firm, as a representative of the overseas lawyer members from over 20 countries on the LAC of the China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, delivered a speech titled "Give Full Play to the Advantages of Overseas Members of the LAC, Actively Promote the High-Quality Development of Foreign-related Rule of Law" at the opening ceremony. She stated that overseas Chinese-speaking lawyers should strive to be the most reliable advance escorts for overseas Chinese enterprises going global, staunch defenders of the legitimate rights and interests of overseas Chinese and Chinese enterprises investing abroad, and disseminators of the rule of law culture with Chinese characteristics.

　　Subsequently, the delegation conducted visits and held symposiums and exchanges with local judicial departments, lawyers associations, and foreign-related legal service centers in Nanjing, as well as Wuhu and Hefei in Anhui Province.
