DHH (Shenzhen) Lawyer Attends ICC Arbitrator Advanced Training Program in Hong Kong

  Recently, Xie Xiaosong, Senior Joint Partner of Beijing DHH (Shenzhen) Law Firm, attended the Advanced Training Programme for Arbitrators organized by the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce ("ICC") in Hong Kong.

  As a key event of this year's ICC Asia-Pacific Conference, this Advanced Training Programme for Arbitrators, themed "Conduct of the Proceedings and Case Management: the Arbitrator's Perspective," attracted participants specializing in international arbitration from various countries and regions, including Mainland China, Hong Kong SAR, the UK, Germany, Singapore, Dubai, Thailand, and the Philippines. During the training, participants engaged in group discussions on topics such as Active Case Management Techniques in international arbitration, the Scope and Limits on an Arbitrator's Authority, Managing the Exchange of Information, and Conducting Hearings. These discussions explored how arbitrators address various issues arising in international arbitration proceedings across different real-case scenarios.

  The ICC International Court of Arbitration is a globally renowned international arbitration institution headquartered in Paris, with offices in the Asia-Pacific region including Hong Kong, Singapore, and Shanghai. In 2024, it was ranked as the "Most Important Arbitration Institution Globally" by the Global Arbitration Review. Furthermore, its arbitration rules were selected as the "Most Preferred Arbitration Rules Globally" in the 2025 International Arbitration Survey jointly conducted by Queen Mary University of London and White & Case LLP. The ICC Asia-Pacific Conference is a premier international arbitration event organized by the ICC in the Asia-Pacific region, held annually in Hong Kong and Singapore on a rotating basis.
