In June 2025, a Japanese Okinawa economic and trade delegation to China, led by Mr. Toyoki Oka, Secretary-General of the Japan-China Investment Promotion Organization and a director of Mizuho Bank, Ltd., conducted a two-day exchange visit in Chongqing. During their stay, they held discussions and carried out on-site visits with relevant municipal and district units, as well as key enterprises. Lawyer Wang Jiyue,Managing Director of DHH&DH Japan Business Department and the Executive Director of the Japan Cooperation Special Committee of the Chongqing International Economic, Trade, and Cultural Promotion Association, accompanied the delegation throughout the visit. She was involved in organizing the activities, coordinating between government and enterprises, and providing interpretation support.
This event effectively promoted exchanges and mutual trust between Chongqing and Okinawa across multiple dimensions, including economics and trade, science and technology, and culture, yielding practical results.
