From June 13 to 15, 2025, the China-Japan-Korea Trilateral Meeting of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI) was held in Gyeongju, South Korea. The conference focused on the role of intellectual property in corporate decision-making and development, IP strategies in the cultural industries, and the latest developments in IP systems across China, Japan, and Korea. The event featured speeches by several corporate representatives from Japan and Korea and attracted IP professionals from beyond the three countries.

As members of AIPPI China, Lawyer ZOU Jianhong from Beijing DHH (Guangzhou) Law Firm and Patent Attorney LI Ying from Beijing DHH Law Firm attended the conference. They engaged in lively exchanges and business discussions with the President of AIPPI Korea, partners from various Japanese and Korean law firms, corporate representatives, and senior foreign-related patent attorneys.

Following the conference, Lawyer ZOU Jianhong and Patent Attorney LI Ying were invited to attend a startup networking event at Pangyo 2nd Techno Valley in South Korea. During this session, Korean startup representatives presented their latest technology developments and consulted Chinese and Japanese experts on strategies for entering the China and Japan markets. As an invited Chinese expert from AIPPI, Lawyer ZOU provided on-site legal guidance and suggestions to the Korean startups.
Additionally, Lawyer ZOU and Patent Attorney LI visited several renowned IP law firms in Seoul, where they introduced the capabilities of DHH Law Firm and its IP team. They held in-depth discussions with the managing partners and senior attorneys of the visited firms to explore potential cooperation opportunities.
