DHH Lawyers Successfully Defended Chinese Enterprise in Indian Anti-Dumping Investigation

2025-05-19
On April 16th, 2025, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India announced the final determination of its anti-dumping investigation into injection molding machines originating from China. Under the professional representation of DHH Lawyers, a Chinese enterprise successfully secured the second-lowest anti-dumping duty among all Chinese respondents, laying a solid foundation for its continued development in the Indian market.
On March 28th, 2024, the Indian authority officially launched the investigation, requiring all Chinese enterprises that exported plastic processing machinery to India during the investigation period to complete a detailed questionnaire and cooperate fully. Failure to do so would result in being classified as a non-cooperative respondent, subject to the highest punitive duties.
The legal team led by Lawyer LUO Cheng of Beijing DHH (Foshan) Law Firm was appointed - after multiple rounds of competitive bidding and in-depth consultation - to represent a group of eight affiliated companies (six factories in China and one registered importer in India) in the proceedings. With extensive experience in anti-dumping cases and strong legal expertise, the team held 28 video meetings with financial heads across the group and conducted several on-site visits to ensure accurate data submission and sound legal strategy.
