DHH Lawyers Attended the Forum on Foreign-Related Legal Services under Belt and Road Cooperation and Delivered Speeches

On June 28, the Beijing Lawyers Association held the Forum on Foreign-Related Legal Services under Belt and Road Cooperation in Beijing. The forum focused on the establishment of a system for ensuring the rule of law for high-quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative. Dr. Liu Kejiang, Managing Partner of Beijing DHH Law Firm (“DHH”), along with Senior Equity Partners Ma Lihong, Dr. Huang Zhenda, Dr. Liu Sen, and Dr. Chen Tao and Chairman of the Board of DHH (Mongolia), Prof. Batzorig BADAM, were invited to attend.
Leveraging its profound experience and outstanding influence in providing legal services across Russia, Central Asia, and Mongolia, DHH co-hosted the Russia-Central Asia-Mongolia sub-session with King & Wood Mallesons. The session focused on the hot topic “Key Industries Attracting Foreign Investment and Legal Environment Highlights Across Countries.” Prof. Batzorig BADAM delivered a keynote speech titled “Highlights of Hot Foreign Investment Sectors and Legal Environment in Mongolia.” Dr. Liu Kejiang, Director of the Beijing Lawyers Association’s Foreign-Related Legal Services Committee and Managing Partner of DHH, delivered a keynote speech titled “High-Quality Jointly Building the Belt and Road: Foreign-Related Legal Services”. Based on the development journey of the Belt and Road Initiative over the past decade, he systematically elaborated on the crucial role of foreign-related legal services in promoting its high-quality development from the perspective of global rule of law cooperation.

During the roundtable discussion in the latter part of the sub-forum, titled “Opportunities and Challenges for the Legal Industry and Legal Services Ecosystem in the Era of Digital Economy and AI”, Dr. Liu Sen and Dr. Chen Tao, Senior Equity Partners of DHH, engaged in in-depth discussions with legal experts from Mongolia, Russia, Uzbekistan, China, and other countries.
At this seminar, DHH enhanced mutual understanding and expanded cooperation channels with legal professionals from 28 partner countries, laying a solid foundation for future in-depth collaboration in areas such as cross-border investment, international trade, and cross-border dispute resolution. DHH aims to take this as an opportunity to continuously improve its international legal service capabilities, deepen exchanges and cooperation with the legal communities of Belt and Road partner countries, and provide more robust legal safeguards for promoting the high-quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative.
